how is engaging with the belief that children are sexually attractive not harmful to children exactly? children and sex should not mix, it’s not normal to think of children that way and we should not be normalizing this mindset. the same way you think that racism shouldn’t be normalized in bed, neither should pedophilia. and yes, it is pedophilia if you’re pretending your partner is a child whether they are or aren’t. otherwise you wouldn’t need them to act like a 10 year old to get off.

couldnt you say the same about bdsm, cnc, petplay, gore, or other kinks? like, sure, having a kink normalizes the idea; but isnt kink a space where we get to explore taboo things? the risk is that the kinkster will go further than the level of kink/play/pretend, and enact their kink in harmful ways. this would obviously be bad, but thats true of every kink. kink is like fiction: its a space for exploring subjects that we dont actually want to enact irl
