My least woke take is that all r*pe is SA, but not all SA is r*pe. R*pe involves forced/unwanted penetration. As someone who's been both SAd and r*ped, it genuinely peeves me how ppl be using that heavy ass word to describe freaking ANYTHING.

And YES, a guy can be r*ped by a girl. That still includes penetration, he is being forced to penetrate.

No literally. I can’t swallow properly for life since 13 and somehow violent oral rape is on the same tier as an ass grab????

Rape is forced sexual contact. Your definition is how so many rapists get out with no charges, and it’s also why so many male rape victims go without justice. Even then, for example, would a man tying down a woman and performing oral sex on her not be rape in your eyes? No penetration but it’s literally forcing someone to have sex against their will.

Also your definition means it’s impossible for a woman to rape another woman, which is categorically untrue. The idea that rape involves penetration literally stems from misogyny, because it stems from the belief that a penis is so important it changes a woman if it’s forced onto her. But rape doesn’t even need to involve a penis.

thats not true, hes penetrating the mouth then, which would still be considered rape.

I disagree with the concept, like penetration is absolutely not the only way to be raped, and I dont think thats what the OP had intended, but its definitely how they said it

He’s penetrating the mouth by going down on her? It just seems like an easier definition would be ‘forced sexual contact’. Trump raped E Jean Carroll and literally got away with it because he digitally raped her, which isn’t considered rape legally. I think we need to shift away from the idea that rape has to involve a penis or penetration because it literally excludes so many rape victims.
