I really really wanna run away with my boyfriend and like leave my family and community behind but if I do then I’ll never be able to see my sister again and idk how to deal with that decision

I’m not Amish but I do come from a very very strict religious community that my boyfriend calls a cult

also, not sure if you’re looking for advice but if running away with your boyfriend is something you can do financially and stuff i say do it. get out. break the cycle. you choose your own path. hopefully your sister would still choose to see you even if it’s in secret

No I’m not Mormon either. Yeah it’d be financially doable. My sister probably wouldn’t be able to see me at all though
