Notice how this creeps farther and farther left as the years chug on. A lot of ppl who were left a decade or 2 ago now find themselves on the right just bc the goalposts keep moving so far 😂

Ehh. Maybe. Aside from South Korea, at least if you take this piece of data, the right is pretty flat over the last 35 years in America and Germany and has even drifted left in the UK it seems

Maybe Germany has sort of seen a resurgence of far right stuff. I have actually seen media coverage on that a few years back but, the way this makes it look is somewhat mild

I hope I can find it but there’s this really interesting clip on yt that compares clips of Bill Clinton in the 90’s (maybe Hillary too? I forget) with clips of trump from the last decade, and it shows a clip of one of them speaking and then the other, and there policies and beliefs sound fairly similar even on stuff like immigration and it’s just remarkable to see how people just forget stuff over the course of 35 years and how much a culture can change with 2 to 3 generations
