You’re right and that is unfortunately true. It’s funny bc taxes ain’t gonna sustain the biggest generational demographic that’s retiring and living longer than normally anticipated due to modern medicine; the only generation in American history that is bigger than its predecessors and successors hence term baby boomers. Every generation with the exception of boomers has had declining fertility. There’s not mathematically enough of us so sustain them let alone enough of us in the labor market.

That coupled with increasing disillusionment with the government, jobs and society, inflation and expensive cost of living, local/state/federal debt and personal debts including credit card and student loan debt, the unrelenting need for federal military budget to be so high and interest payments on the federal debt being the third highest after social security and Medicare/Medicaid. They’re fucked because we’re fucked.
