People don’t understand how debilitating ADHD is. Not even the worst example of dealing with it, but I’m fucking exhausted right now sitting on my couch. I WANT to go to bed. Trying to talk myself into it. But I can’t. Just can’t move.

PREACH PREACH PREACH!!!! ADHD has been soooo overnormalized that it's lost all traces of its severity and actual meaning. Ppl think it's just a shot attention span and hyperactivity. Like no, that's just the new normal lmao. That's not ADHD. ADHD affects every single aspect of your life, often in debilitating ways.

Like ADHD is extremely similar to BPD and Bipolar Disorder. It's not all just 'Teehee I forgot what you just said 😊'

It takes so much out of you. And the deep cut is when people say “you’re too young to say you’re tired all the time” “wait till you get older” I’m exhausted to the point where I can’t even sleep. My eyes just stay half closed and I stare at a blank wall for hours because I can’t fucking move. Fuck some of these days when I’m too tired to cry and the tears are just hanging on the edge

Ngl I have pretty bad ADHD but when I’m trying to sleep at night, videos like this HELP so much! It truly helped because my mind can focus on those sounds rather than everything else going on in my brain!

Yk, the sleep stuff you're talking about might be idiopathic hypersomnia or insomnia, which are separate from ADHD but tend to occur comorbidly w ADHD! Like yes, ADHD is lethally exhausting on its own, but you may have an additional sleep disorder! Like I have idiopathic hypersomnia. Getting a diagnosis and/or treating the sleep disorder separately works WONDERS.

Oh I have ADHD and ADD!! I used to have to take meds for it but it made me sick and turned me into a zombie and thankfully I wasn’t forced to keep taking it! Honestly, Weed really helped me lol especially in highschool! But everyone is different!
