i remember when i was like 7 the best feeling ever was sprinting across grass barefoot. i haven’t been able to enjoy running for years and the last time i tried i ended up in the hospital. they say exercise makes you healthy but i would argue it’s just correlation and not causation. healthy people are able to exercise and it actually feels good. people who don’t exercise aren’t as healthy but i don’t think it’s always caused by the lack of exercise. it’s human nature to enjoy moving your body.
i think nutrient deficiencies are a big part of it. you can be withinin normal lab ranges and still be deficient or insufficient. iron deficiency and potassium insufficiency are EXTREMELY common and that alone will make exercise miserable. b12 and vitamin d are also super common deficiencies. lab ranges are just averages but when deficiencies are so common the averages are still well below suboptimal
I don’t think we’re going to agree tho I’ll still say that I live alone far from family and was in an accident last month without rental car insurance. I had to rely on Uber for everything. I also lift and workout frequently, but while being trapped in my place for several weeks, I didn’t have any motivation do workout at home anywhere near the same as when going to the gym. Take what you want and make parallels from that or not, that’s all I gotta say
