I’m guessing you aren’t on the internet that much, and I give you big props for that. However, when a guy uses the term “female” to refer to women, it’s usually a symptom of deeper sexism from that guy, unfortunately. I’m saying this as a guy btw.

That’s so strange. I mean I listen to lots of podcasts online but I guess I’m not online much outside of that 🤷🏻‍♀️. Interesting. I don’t see using female as dehumanizing. lol, I also have been told I talk from a different era. Soooo that could be why. To me it’s just a synonym.

Gaming, true crime, modern events. Right now I’m actively listening to “what good companies don’t want you to know” by Johnny Harris.

I’d really look into who the gamers are that you listen to imo, I don’t game much, but from my understanding, gaming is a largely male dominated space that can produce a lot of sexism.

lol my 3 main qualifications for a date. Raves with me, plays games with me, and is a socially competent nerd. Gaming is a main hobby for me lol.

Ohhh that sounds interesting! I really like listening to Johnny Harris. He explores lots of different topics and makes it somehow entertaining!

That’s your thing! I used to be a gamer as a kid, but I got more into lifting and sports and I really love testing my physical limits nowadays. I also find it to be a more practical hobby for me nowadays since I can help my parents lift a big pot of rice 😂

My mom makes huge pots of rice (I’m Arab) and part of the culture is taking the pot and putting a large, round metal plate over the pot then flipping the pot upside down so that the rice makes almost like a cake over the metal plate. The dish is traditionally known as maglubei.

Think about this: those pots of rice can get to be like 20lbs and they really work the forearms trying to flip them 😂

the reason a lot of people think it’s dehumanizing is because it breaks a woman to her reproductive organs, instead of recognizing her as a woman, calling her “female” just identifies her as her biological state

Nothing wrong with overthinking so as long you come to a reasonable conclusion that doesn’t lead to harm.
