So I think the most common defense is just saying “yeah no sane person would do that” and believing she should get the insanity plea. Then there’s the weird true crime conspiracy TikTok shit which is just not based in reality whatsoever

Because it’s not good enough when she says she did it on top of her defense, the prosecution, ex husband, and evidence that points to him being no where near the house. But of course people still want to blame him and blame the system instead of admitting she in fact murdered her three kids in cold blood, planned it, and knew what she was doing. This would set a scary precedent if she was acquitted or found innocent or guilty but mentally unfit

You said it yourself, no sane person kills children. She was not sane. That’s the whole point of the trial and the reason people are defending her. She was going through postpartum psychosis and repeatedly reached out for help. The system failed her since women’s medical issues are not taken seriously. What happened is obviously tragic, but it was also preventable
