Yes I broke a long term relationship cause he voted for trump. Every time I want to forgive him I just can’t get over politics being connected to your own morals. I can’t support anyone who supports ice

Saaaame. We were together for 2.5 years, we broke up 1.5 years ago for this exact thing. The resentment towards him was too much and I accumulated a lot of disdain towards him. I also couldn't stand the guilt and self-hatred and all that came with betraying myself and my values and views by being with him.

Are you against ice bc you think it’s a fascist personal thug force of the pdf in chief or bc you don’t think any illegal immigration should be enforced against?

It the fact that I still miss them but this is something you can’t turn a blind eye to. I haven’t even looked to date anyone fr the last year. My new friend said due to trump she lost her top paying job which was going to give her a visa . Now she works as a barista after college and has to still do paperwork with the chance of being deported

You can be anti ice while not being pro illegal immigration & think there should be some sensible non-fascist enforcement against it, Obama deported more people than Bush. And ice was created under bush

As a kid that came from immigrants the way ice is handling it is unethical. The whole point of ice was to prevent illegal immigrate especially the dangerous ones to be sent back home . That stance I can see where there is concern. However this has turn into a stop and frisk situation

1. No official ice uniform ( easily impersonation) 2. News coming out of a concentration camp ( yes they came illegally but that not needed ( free labor) ) 3. Kids being separated ( suspicious) 4. This is all a front to push immigrants out the country, dangerous or not 5. Create fear for the public and a tactic to use against anyone who could be from a Latin country 6. Ice doesn’t care to follow any guidelines on taking people 7. Pushes people to inherently think all immigrants are danger

It also about looking who pushing this … trump. His agenda is rooted in white superiority. He want to get rid of birth right citizenship like his son doesn’t benefit from it . Wouldn’t be surprised if the grandfather clause came back soon . He want to reverse a lot of progressive policies to make “ America great again “ . When was America great and for who ? It only benefit white straight male with money which is him
