Depends where they live. Not everyone has access to a bus that has the perfect route to work. If they’re paying $30-40 just one way that’s likely a 10+ mile ride. Uber ride would be like 20-45min whereas a bus would be like 1.5H

yea we don’t have great public transportation where i live (inconsistent and sparse). and i work in a different town about 30 minutes away so there’s absolutely no public transportation in between. and this job is my career, i can’t just quit it (especially in this job market) over something so temporary
