I would never speak to my parents again if they were blatantly racist like that to begin with. Protect your child and keep him out of their life.

I only do because my brother died and my dad is alone and has diagnosed ALS. I don’t see him or spend time with him. I call him maybe once a month:

He has never been around my son and I’ve seen him once since my brother died at my grandpas funeral. Please do not act like you know all from one statement,, I obviously am limited on characters per post and it’s a complicated situation.
