I hate being 22 and still being mentally 18. I'm still an undergrad too, still working at my first job, haven't moved away from home, still haven't experienced life at all
Im 24 and undergrad. Never feel bad for being on a different timeline.

i feel this way, too. it’s mostly because i’m in an emotionally abusive and repressing household. if i’m treated like a child, i’m going to feel like one.

Why, that’s entirely your choice just go out and drink and make friends

not that easy. some people struggle to make friends and the idea of just going out and drinking without friends to join you doesn’t appeal to everyone. i never would have tried alcohol if my friends didn’t scoop me up into their friend group freshman year.

Then why complain about it

maybe they’re looking for someone who can relate? just because you don’t understand the thought process behind something doesn’t mean it’s invalid.

I’m saying if you don’t want to drink alcohol why complain about how you’ve never even drank alcohol. You could drive out and buy a handle right now if you want

many people are uncomfortable with the idea of drinking unless it’s done socially.

Why gng it’s literally a first taste. If you DONT want it than DONT have it

i feel like them saying they’ve never drank before is different from having a first taste. i think most people have at least tasted alcohol in their younger years. drinking is another thing.
