Weed is all mental!!! You just have to tell yourself that you’re ok without it! The first three days are hell, but it gets so much easier!

Currently on a break myself. 1 week to the day. Find something to take your mind off it and reward yourself for not doing it

I’ve been smoking weed for 7 years. It’s all in your head. It’s just one of those habits you can live worhought at this point because it doesn’t really do much it’s just part of the routine

if u can’t handle being bored cuz ur not high (less dopamine in ur brain cuz it stopped producing as much naturally) then maybe fill ur life with more activities.

You’re still not going to produce as much dopamine that way until things kick back up again. Just gotta get through the hump

yea true u do gotta get thru it. but after the receptors repair themselves, u still gotta do more stuff to stay busy—at least for me. i would smoke weed and watch tv, but i feel less desire to sit around when sober so i had to pick up real hobbies

Very true. I just meant for anyone who picks up new things while trying to quit but still not feeling fulfilled, it’s gonna take time for that to naturally come back.

I feel like there are physical withdraws, like when I quit the first time I couldn’t sleep without it and had to slowly lower the dose each night to help sleep

dudeee no! i completely lost my appetite, could not sleep, and had terrible night sweats. i get very angry and anxious the first few days. look it up. weed isn’t chemically additive but there ARE physical side effects. and yes obviously i was smoking an enormous amount but not outside the norm.
