I’m seconding what #3 said with an addition. Even if you have great chemistry, it’s clear he’s not over his ex. He won’t prioritize you if you were to get in a relationship, and he probably doesn’t want that anyways. If you have feelings for him, then its clear that your casual hookup relationship has fallen apart and you need to disengage.
