Fr like my thing is the point of freedom is the right to chose how you wanna live. I’d never judge a woman who whats to be traditional and a house wife or a man that wants to be traditional and a provider ..but I hate a man that EXPECTS a traditional wife and her doing provider shit THEN barely carries his own weight. That don’t work

Idk i’d consider myself traditional husband material, but I guess everyone has their own definition of that // different expectations in what they’re looking for in a partner

The idea of a stay at home wife is becoming less and less of a common thing because of the economy these past 10 years. I’d love to have my woman be the home carer, but unless I’m rich as hell, that ain’t happening unfortunately. Times are a changing

Wait so yall want men who massage yall feet at night, listen to you when you talk like your voice is music, looks at you like you’re the only woman in the whole universe? Reveres an adores you, cooks for you, cleans for you, listens with intent to improve instead of ego, and only ever has eyes for you even if it means he sluts you out hard in private?

Traditional just doesn’t mean a woman who doesn’t work. It also refers to religious, submissive, one who cooks, cleans, has multiple babies etc. i’m not saying I want one, but I just wanna give you the context of what people mean when they say “traditional wife”

Yeah, real talk, as a guy I’ve never understand this mindset. Like, why would I care if she’s been with one or multiple guys before; I’m going to fuck her better anyways

Anonymous replying to -> #7 6d

If because he’s scared he won’t measure up to her past lovers. Virgins have no basis to compare sex to, combined with submissiveness makes it easier for him to control the narrative that he’s the best she’ll ever have because he’s the only one she’ll have until she realizes that she can do better.

Traditional (in the usual reference to the 50s standard) means she won’t work. If she works and ends up taking care of the household (domestic labor, which is also work), she’s better off just being single (or single mother) because she’ll do that regardless. The point of being a traditional housewife is that she does the domestic duties and child rearing while her husband is the bread winner.

As a virgin myself, I certainly don't want a man who fetishizes my virginity, and compares women who have been with other men as "used goods". Im a human being not an item

Anonymous replying to -> OP 6d

That part. If a man openly fetishized my virginity and talked down on other woman for being “used goods” I literally wouldn’t even bother with him. Cuz they probably ran through themselves anyway and see woman as flesh object like a creep

For starters, a traditional husband that isn't ~toxic~ wouldn't try to control you and be toxic. Also, it is possible in today's economy it just isn't common. I know men with well paying jobs that have no problem with their wives being traditional.
