I absolutely agree with this it’s tone and bad character development that brings down most modern films bc some of my favorite films I’ve seen in the past year are unoriginal if I’m being honest but they knew what they were doing and hit the nail on the head a truly original film is that nice treat you get ever few years

There’s like, at most 1-2 gay characters in modern movies, which is pretty accurate and representative of the population. Also, movies have always been political. The nature of most media is that it is going to be relevant to the real world. It’s not the movie’s fault that you are just now realizing this shit.

The movies sell pretty well actually lol. It’s called modernization. Movies made in the modern day are culturally relevant to the modern day. Crazy concept I know.
