People make a big deal out of it, and it’s like who cares. The people who want to date will try to date and the people who don’t want to date won’t date. Is someone frustrated that someone they wanted to date just wants to hook up? Boom, y’all are incompatible, that person isn’t worth your energy

the two kinds of people usually stick to their own. i have to imagine the people who feel so jaded didn’t set boundaries & accepted being casual when they didn’t want to. which is on them more often than not.
