Humans that got tortured and violated for there beliefs that they heard from Jesus himself u fucking bozo do you kno how they died?? No and u just said a divine entity that has it was created by mere humans? Your more out of touch with yourself than you realize think about this GOD has created everything you could ever possibly need in this world and it’s been around for thousands of years longer than that when you die and your soul is not on this plane you will know god

You haven’t even read the actual bible or know the word of god so of course you don’t believe you refuse to accept his presence because you have the devil closer to you

just because ppl have died for a belief doesn’t make it true lmfao. People have died for all kinds of religions including ones that contradict each other. That just shows that they were convinced, not that they were correct. If your God is real, there should be actual evidence. Not just a book that was created by humans. Blind faith isn’t the same as truth

U jus contradicted the fuck out ya self lol you weren’t really Christian if you don’t believe in gods words now especially now nothing in bible will never lead you to not believe god that’s blasphemy also tell me the verse that led you to believe that

Humans have always created Gods to explain the unknown. That’s why every culture has its own version, and why religion changes over time. The bible wasn’t written by God, it was written, edited, and passed down by humans like yourself. If no one ever told you about God or religion, you wouldn’t know it even exists. We’re introduced to these beliefs by other people, parents, churches, and books. That alone shows it’s a man-made concept passed down and not some universal truth we’re born knowing.

what are u talking about how did I contradict myself I literally was a christian, I actually was Christian, reading the bible for myself is exactly what made me start questioning it. That’s not a contradiction, that’s called thinking critically. If something is true, questioning it shouldn’t scare you. And saying “you weren’t really Christian” just because I don’t follow anymore is not a good argument lol.

Let me ask you this, if an ALL POWERFUL GOD wanted everyone to believe, why rely on word of mouth and ancient texts instead of just making himself clearly known??

and it wasn’t just one verse that led me not to believe in God, it was reading most of the bible and realizing it reads more like a mystical storybook than a word of all-knowing, loving deity

Actually listen to what I’m saying instead of spiraling off trying to prove a non existent point scientist that based that whole life off facts said there’s no way the Earth wasn’t created because of the symmetrics how it was it was made the first people to every bring the bibile forth got the words from the messiah himself and just like you there were non believers and they killed them for that for believing do you not see the gravity of that ? No ofc you don’t

So questioning something means your thinking critically no 😂😂. Still have yet to tell me what verse or part of the Bible did u read to make you Christian to non believer

First of all I can’t even read what you’re saying clearly because your punctuation is ass. You’re saying “listen to what i’m saying” but you’re not even making a clear argument. You’re mixing vague science references with religious claims and calling it proof. Just because something seems “symmetric” doesn’t mean god had to create it. Also being killed for a belief, again doesn’t make it true. It just shows how powerful belief can be. Why don’t u try to listen to what I’m saying now

If the Bible was really written by a messiah, it wouldn’t be inconsistent, edited over time, and full of contradictions. Also never would I support a religion that says slavery is okay and rape

He had literally died for the sins of all mankind it is up to you to have your own personal relationship with god it also says in the Bible Acts 17:24 “He is the god who made the world and everything in it.Since he is the lord of heaven and earth he does not DWELL in mad made temples aka churches if you are as Christian as I assume u were this should be something you know

Obviously you’re not even reading what I’m saying so let me repeat myself, it wasn’t just ONE verse that made me stop believing, but I’m more then happy to give u the verses I don’t agree with. Leviticus 25:44-46, Deuteronomy 22:28-29, Numbers 31:17-18, Exodus 21:20-21, Leviticus 20:13

Did you even go to school like genuine question because this is getting embarrassing. The bible is a religious document, not a historical or scientific document. Saying it’s 100% accurate because “another non believer disagrees” isn’t a valid argument yet again.. You’re using belief to defend belief which isn’t proving anything brochacho. Plenty of religious texts make claims, are they all true too??

#1 i see that ur trying to defend ur beliefs & thats admirable but i cant help but feel like this isnt the best way to go abt doing that. also i dont think it was op's intention to attack anyone's beliefs. ur allowed to have ur beliefs as im allowed to have mine & theyre allowed to have theirs, i think they were just trying to express that they dont really get how ppl believe in religion not that religion is necessarily untrue? i could be wrong tho

positivity and truth have never been the priorities of christianity or its zealots

i would push back on that a bit. at its core christianity is meant to be a beautiful religion based on the pillars of kindness, love, & compassionate truth but as humans we arent perfect. that means a looot of mistakes & a looot of self-righteous, arrogant, selfish, etc, etc, ppl giving a bad name to an otherwise beautiful belief system

have you read the bible? god commands genocide, rape, and murder. he tells you you’re born worthless. that isn’t love to me. gods version of love sounds a lot like hate. 'If there is a God, He will have to beg my forgiveness.' -A phrase carved into a concentration camp cell by a Jewish Prisoner

i have read the bible (i was raised christian). i think a lot of what ur referring to is in the old testament & bc of this isnt endorsed to be practiced in modern-day christianity (in fact iirc it is condemned in the new testament) thats why i said christianity as a religion isnt meant to be hateful or cruel
