I’m sorry my post was vague af, but it’s actually more he’s extremely active and maintains a relationship with god, whereas I am an ex Mormon who no longer practices and doesn’t believe in the core concepts of heaven/hell. Like I’m sure he’s gonna want to go to church with kids and as a family and stuff and idk if I’m gonna be able to do that. But this is still good advice, I guess it’s just one of those bridges you cross when you get there
Yeah like I’m Catholic and hubs is Baptist and they are quite different sectors of Christianity and we agreed our baby (27 weeks rn) will be christened/baptized but as for following the covenants we will do communion but give her the option for second confirmation or second baptism
Oh I love this. It sounds like a great way to let her see both sides and naturally align with whatever specifically calls to her more. And it’s great that you guys are able to maintain your own beliefs bc if she ever has questions she has two people she can ask closest to her. Thank you for the reassurance 🥹 and also congrats!!! Omg she’s so close
