You can be stay at home and not a bitch but u can also be a stay at home and a bitch, there’s multiple definitions of “bitch”. The question itself feels like rage bait, it felt more than obvious that I meant someone who’s like pathetic and gets bossed around, not in the derogatory towards women sense.
Well I’m sorry if it sounded like rage bait. Your sentence implied it. And it could stop men that would like to be stay at home dads to become that. Have you seen that episode of south park when they were in court talking about gay people?😭😂 thats what your explanation sounds like lol
I generally tend to agree with more traditional sense of gender roles but dude, it’s not the 1960s if women wanna get a job and have a career and give something more than kids to the world than they should. It’s not even fair for men too to be put on a pedestal like that either, what if I don’t wanna work and wanna keep a nice home and cook food.
Yesss, couldn’t be more right. People dont understand how much pressure men get from this too. Not to mention this economy is HORRIBLE, how many families with lets say 2kids is going to survive with only the father having an income? Do men have to give up all their hours away from their families to be a “provider”. I say let people do what they want based on their preferences and tax bracket. Without endangering their partners.
Thank you, well said, if I could I’d love to be a stay at home dad and do the things my dad never could do for me. (Just be around and play catch or some shit) but it really is an economics thing, it’s ever increasingly hard to be financially stable alone and better yet foster someone who cannot take care of themselves.
First off, fire fucking shout I love South Park, secondly, u can be a stay at home dad and not be (I don’t know or have a better word for it rn sorry) a slave to your s/o. You can still be manly or atleast retain some sort of equal footing to your partner. Idk if that makes sense but yea I don’t have better words as of now.
Aw thats beautiful. I think housedads are awesome, not even the on your knees or begging type. Just a man that wants to genuinely raise his kids and take care of the home. The best an average family could wish for now tho is a dual income house hold where both parents have jobs, nice house, great neighbourhood. And the parents work like a team, a unit. I pick up kids these days, you do those days. I cook, you wash the dishes, rotate doctors appointments, rotate sports game and performances.
