I genuinely don’t understand the causal dressing culture in the USA like why when I went to an interview a girl after me was wearing sweat pants. To an interview?? Bffr have some decorum

Idk if I’d label it as a US thing I think she’s just stupid 😭I’ve never known anyone to do that and I’ve always been told to dress up

that’s not a US thing that’s someone being stupid 😭 yes americans dress way more casual when going to the grocery store or smth but i would NEVER consider dressing that way for an actual job interview that’s insane

It was to be a secretary at the second biggest one in my city so you need to dress well. Either way wearing sweats to an interview ever is unacceptable but this kind of interview requires like high heels

I’ve just noticed since I’ve worked in both countries it’s more common to be a lot more like causal here like pajamas in public meanwhile that’s extremely uncommon in the EU for people to do that so it’s like
