I never said Tony was the villain. I said LIKE a GOOD villain he was sympathetic. You could absolutely understand why he was doing what he was doing while also admitting that he was still on the wrong side. Conversely, Cap was not sympathetic at all. He made a lot of mistakes and burnt trust with friends all for standing up for what was morally and objectively right. That’s the entire motif of the whole movie.
