My thing is we all know that Tony would break the law if it was needed … I get what cap was saying but at the same time ain’t no way they wouldn’t find a way to get done what they needed to do also Tony went through SHIT during that movie

Yes Tony being the sympathetic one was by design because he was on the wrong side lol Just like the best villains, despite being bad people, are the ones we can sympathize with. They needed Tony to be the sympathetic character because he was in the wrong side

I never said Tony was the villain. I said LIKE a GOOD villain he was sympathetic. You could absolutely understand why he was doing what he was doing while also admitting that he was still on the wrong side. Conversely, Cap was not sympathetic at all. He made a lot of mistakes and burnt trust with friends all for standing up for what was morally and objectively right. That’s the entire motif of the whole movie. Tony: likable, understandable, but wrong Cap: not likable, but absolutely right

He was absolutely right when it came to the legal policies and government oversight and overreach. Also you’re going to say Tony cared about everyone when he let his friends get federally imprisoned and then was trying to kill Bucky because he was brainwashed?

you do realize there was a legit reason for the government oversight right ? Basically knowing both sides would’ve shown you that he cared about society as a whole. He told them there would be consequences for going against them … and he’s trying to help them. And Bucky killed his parents he was angry and hurting. No that wasn’t right but he didn’t just hate ppl 🧍🏼‍♀️
