
if you have a kid who’s 30 and pooping themself due to disability, i’m not saying that’s not hard for everyone involved. i’m just saying i don’t think you have a right to abandon them because you already agreed to the possibility of being responsible for them at that caliber by deciding to have a kid in the first place
it’s not a crazy take to not want to take care of your kid for the rest of your life. personally i think that sounds horrible. therefore im not having children. bc im not willing to take the risk (amongst other reasons). if youre not willing to take the risk that you might get put in that situation. i wholeheartedly believe you are someone who should not have children.
a disabled adult is not a baby, jesus christ. if you intend to reproduce then it’s really damning for you to have an age cutoff in mind in terms of how long you’d be willing to provide for them regardless of their circumstances. that type of thinking is part of why homelessness is such a dire issue in the US
