Do yall think it’s rude to bring a guy in the dorm if me and my dormates all have separate rooms and they don’t even know he’s there? And like we’re super quiet the only thing they see is him come in and leave

As long as you communicate that, had a friend walk out her room and run into her roommates boyfriend and didn’t know he was there

I wouldnt like a unrelated man to stay in the same space as me for more than a day/night . Thats very uncomfortable at least to me.

Yeah that’s fine especially since everyone has their own room. Just give them a heads up prior

2 of my roommates agree with you but one of them does not like it at all. I had a guy friend that I’ve had throughout my childhood come over and she saw him leave and she just told me she isn’t comfortable with me hanging out with guys. Like dude what

I asked her she didn’t really give like a totally good answer just. I don’t want someone I don’t know in this dorm. Yet she brings her random friends over all the time. Granted they are girls but like who cares lmao

Even if it’s not in your room? We all have seperate bedrooms and hers is on the opposite side of the dorm

I mean I get her perspective to an extent. But yeah you just gotta instill the boundary.

Oh yeah if anyone was spending the night I’d ask first!! just cause they’re bound to leave the room at some point and I don’t want them to get shocked but no it was just hanging out for a few hours to catch up and most of mt roommates didn’t gaf except for one

I live in a separate room situation so i know what you mean. I notice when a man come in and i can feel their energy. But As long as hes not staying the night and they arent making a lot of noise, everything is fine . But i think you should notify the people you live with. Its polite and respectful for those paying for comfort and safety.

Yeah fair enough! I only didn’t say anything this time cause all of them were at class and were only just getting back when he was leaving. But yeah no one is staying the night
