My bf told me not to wear a dress to an event we’re going to with both our friends & I think he’s just being insecure because I look hot af. I’m wearing it anyways 🤷‍♀️

If something makes your partner uncomfortable it’s not hard to stop doing that thing if it’s reasonable. Some of you are too stubborn or immature to be in relationships.

Thinking abt this in context of my own man is weird bc there is 0 instance of him ever critiquing my outfit. The dress would have to be REALLY ugly or unflattering to do that and he’d probably just say that to protect my ego when we take pics

It’s posts like these that make me happy I’m not in a relationship

Well what does the dress look like? Is it a classy dress or is it just some dental floss? And what’s the event?

You’re a weirdo no man gets a a say in what a women wants wear it’s not the 1800s anymore. It’s her body and her clothes just because you don’t have respect for yourself it doesn’t mean others don’t

I disagree, I can wear what I want. Also making a generalization when you know nothing about the relationship I’ve been in for years is silly. He wears “ provocative “ things sometimes & I genuinely don’t care nor control his clothing options. He has his own insecurities but I’m not going to restrict myself for him always.

no offense to you or your style girl but that dress isn’t it. it looks like a dish towel hanging on the oven door. it looks 50% spandex and that’s why it’s clumpy and cut on an angle. i wouldn’t even wear a dress and heels to a concert unless im going to an opera. put your ego away for a moment and maybe wear something comfortable?
