this is actually a very traditional french charcuterie! a lot of american-style charcuteries include italian ingredients like prosciutto, red peppers, and breadsticks, so this probably looks really different from what you’re used to seeing!

this charcuterie has cornichons, uncured mimolette, jambon, pear, french pearl cheese, cashous, and brie :) paired with baguette and miel a moutard, a traditional honey marinated with mustard seeds! and an orangina, the best french soda :)

it’s actually miel a moutard! it’s a traditional french-style honey that you soak mustard seeds in! it’s like regular honey, but a little spicier and tangyer. it’s very hard to find in the US, so i always buy a few jars when im back.

the only things i can think of as belonging in a sandwich here are the cornichons (pickles) and the jambon haha

i think you can find it on amazon or some french export websites, but it, as orangina, get very expensive because in the states, anything french is assumed to be very expensive!

it’s delicious! cornichons are a little uncommon but they’re fantastic when they’re done right. it translates to small pickle :)
