 Does anyone have any good cook book recommendations for a gift? Either baking or cooking would be awesome.

YES. Okay so the Baking Bible by Rose Levy Barenbaum is great 👍 all of her baking books are great actually. For cooking, my go-to gifts are Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat and The Flavor Equation and The Food Lab. I’m assuming you’re looking for gifts for somebody who already likes cooking here??? If you’re looking for some easier more beginner friendly books I have recs for those too

For ppl who aren’t super into cooking yet, I love the One Pan Two Plates books because they’re two portion recipes that use minimal dishes are super easy to make and SO GOOD. There’s a vegetarian moussakka recipe in the vegetarian book that I make alllll the time it’s so good. A book with excellent variety in both types of dishes and in difficulty level, I actually really love The Essential New York Times Cookbook: The Recipes of Record. There’s a bunch of both cooking and baking recipes in it!
