haha okay so i used one chicken breast and sliced it into tenders, then used a meat hammer to make them into skinny cutlets. this way of cutting allows for one chicken breast to make more servings, as well as lowers the cook time. i then dipped in flour, then eggs, then seasoned panko. i shallow fried them in a large pan w crisco (the goat for frying chicken) - they cook really fast! i also had prepped a canned jar of marinara by adding extra seasonings and cooked pasta.
i put the fried chicken cutlets onto a baking sheet and topped w marinara, mozzarella, and parm and broiled it on high in the oven until toasty and golden brown. serve on a bed of pasta!! and ofc a lil bit of steamed broccoli for some color. lmk if you have any questions!! also yes i cheated out and used jarred marinara but i am working on perfecting a marinara/arrabiata recipe soon!
haha no they’re great friends they just have different interests and don’t understand that frying your own chicken and making it is like a whole process. just wanted people who appreciated cooking to put eyes on it! also a lot are vegetarian so they really don’t get it. they still said good job and stuff lol
