Used a lot of caramelized onions. Other ingredients in onion soup.

It’s a basic Mac and cheese recipe but with a lot of gryuere cheese and added thyme for that French onion flavor profile. Added lots of caramelized onions too. Like a ton.

Also, I cook the pasta in beef stock. Not just regular water. Thats some extra flavor right there. Throw a couple spoonfuls of that stock/pasta water in when you mix it with the cheese to really bind it all together
