My favorite thing about cooking is the failure part because you learn from your mistakes. For this appetizer, which was a seared scallop with a corn purée, radish, and pickled apple. It was descent, but a lot of room for improvement.

The corn purée overpowered the scallops, which is the main focus. I forgot to use green apples, the scallop should’ve been patted before plating, also a little longer on the searing.
