If you squeeze a bunch of roses you get rose milk

So I sort of cheated and got rossen flavoring from lucky Asian grocery and I realized I didn’t have enough to fill the bottle so the rest I filled with some strawberry syrup I had from a previous time

Basically to add to a sprite or sparkling water that I wanted to be rose flavored and rose flavored sodas are great

Unfortunately it’s mostly sugar but I totally understand the urge to do so

I have some edible glitter so I add it to most of my syrups for a fun fantasy look

This is an example of a rose soda I made with the same syrup recipe. It sometimes would spill too much but the syrup made it have less of a reaction compared to adding the ingredients in

I have ratios not measurements. Strawberry simple syrup 1 portion of water 1 portion of sugar (3/4 if it’s honey, 1/2 for Splenda) 1-1.5 portion of cut fruit. Cook down 15-20 minutes on a high heat all together and then strain out the fruit

You cook down until the water level goes down a centimeter in the saucepan you can cook it down more if you want it to be thicker

For the rose I did 1 portion of sugar to 1 portion of water and I added what was probably a teaspoon of Rossen flavor. I made sure the sugar was dissolved and cooked it until the liquid went down a centimeter. Durring this time I did add roughly a teaspoon lemon juice and from there I kept adjusting ratios to taste

Lastly I poured it in the bottle when I realized it wasn’t enough so I added what was 1/4th portion of the strawberry syrup and shook to mix with the edible glitter
