Just a simple Italian spice blend would also be helpful! I think most have like a mix of oregano thyme basil and those types of spices so if you’re worried about space or can’t find all of those individually yet a blend like that might be nice. Definitely cinnamon if you’re thinking about baking any
If you have access to a spice grinder, I would highly recommend buying whole spices over pre ground. Day and night difference in terms of flavor and longevity. When buying spices, keep in mind what your favorite food/cuisine is and what are not. Only buy spices you know will be used, and buy uncommon spices as necessary.
Other than dry spices, we always have fresh ginger root on hand, minced garlic, red and yellow or white onions, sriracha, sesame oil, coconut oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, agave and/or honey and/or maple syrup, miso paste, tomato paste (the tubes are great), frozen jalapeños, frozen pesto cubes, frozen veggie scraps ready for making veg broth, canned salsa, and fresh cilantro when needed, and probably a few more things I forgot.
This is 100% the realistic answer. I should clarify that I’m a foodie and make 95% of my meals at home, which is why I have so much. But Italian seasoning, curry powder/garam masala, a Cajun seasoning, chili powder, and anything else you like will get you far! Just be careful with some spice mixes because they can be super salty
