I just moved to Wisconsin a month ago, what exactly is tater tot casserole? Is it good?

tater tot casserole to me is just “oh shoot, no dinner plans, what the hell am i gonna make” as long as i have one canned/frozen veg, some tots, ground beef, and cream of whatever soup im set. add more of something or less of another and it rlly wont matter, thats the joy of casserole

Its like cottage pie, but with tater tots. We had in elementary school a lot. Tater tots,ground beef, onions, cream of mushroom soup, and shredded cheese. Bought ingredients to make it tonight

Ill probably be disappointed — i also remember being much more impressed with Rocky Rococo’s when I was a kid, than when i visited as an adult
