Dumb argument. Because I don’t see them posting about this nonstop. I do agree that the news does emphasize the wrong things to distract us tho. But if feminists were really focused on women they would at least get off of tik tok and do actual research on what’s going on.

Activists and feminists are 2 similar but separate categories. Feminists just want equality of the sexes, activists are the ones who actively research and educate themselves. The vast majority of people only concern themselves with what’s on the news and what’s happening in their country

Literally just not what I said. Feminists tend to focus on the issues that directly affect their lives and the lives around them in their country. I do believe people need to stay updated on injustices overseas but if the news isn’t putting it out then you can’t expect a ton of people to be aware of it
