You don’t have to be okay with it. I wouldn’t date a white guy but Paxton fine ash! Think about how the norms of the school itself affected her! She didn’t start making better decisions until she dealt with all that shit. Liking white ppl as brown ppl is not a bad thing as long as it’s healthy and not an obsession over popularity and stupid customs

Bc she was literally finding her way in high school like any other young girl that age. Albeit rebelliously since she hated her home life, but ppl that she make all kinds of mistakes! Jeez. Not all ppl have the same experience. So there is not ONE way to be a high schooler OR a brown girl/ person . We are not all the same and don’t want the same things.
