Idk how to put this question but, there’s a org on my campus that doesn’t often have lines but that’s the org I’m interested in. I attend there events but what are the chances that I end up graduating before a line happens? Can I just choose another org?

Honest question: do you want to join the org or do you want to join the D9?

I go to both of their events but haven’t gone to an interest meeting

Its never too late! If you graduate there are always grad chapters! The best advice it to see which one fits you and join after! I had to wait a whilee!

Well, I’m still relatively new to Greek life but I would say both. I’m still trying to see which org aligns with me but there’s two that does and those are the two that I’ve been going to. However, Im also trying to see how it’s like within these two chapters

that makes sense my advice would change depending on what year you are, but for the most part - don’t choose an org based on whether they’ll have a line or not. anything can happen and D9 orgs are a lifetime commitment.

I would recommend doing more research, going to as many events as possible, and forming connections with the current members. And which ever one begins to win you over will most likely be the right path for you

I am a sophomore, If I have a one that I’m very keen on I guess I was just a little nervous they may never have a line while I’m here but I’m understanding that they are a lifelong commitment! So then, I should just stick to that one? Bc it does align w me, and I am very interested and committed, I just overhear a lot of people say they are selective and very underground with the process

I would definitely say commit to one if it becomes clear to you! No org wants because your 2nd choice and it’s usually apparent when that’s the case. If it doesn’t happen during undergrad for some reason, there’s always grad chapter xx
