i think so! i’m sure val started and maybe alan used some of it, but you can kinda tell the difference between the pros choreo as you watch the show longer and longer. alan and val are both awesome choreographers but i do think there’s slight differences between the two of their styles and this one gave more alan to me

if you look up on youtube or tiktok like alan/vals best dances and look at the differences in their sambas or foxtrots or whatever it may be, you can definitely start to pick things out!! i’ve been watching for so long that i remember when they had two seasons a year instead of one LMAO but anyway you get used to pros
