So I’m in a weird spot, my female coworker asked me to be her gym buddy, should I tell my girlfriend? I don’t want her to feel insecure or worried but I feel if I don’t tell her that would be worse? Third option being I just don’t go with her but that has

Definitely tell your GF. You don’t want to be spending time alone with another woman. It may seem to her as lying by omission.

well you could try to make it a group thing and tell your girlfriend, that way it won’t be strange since it’s just the two of you.

First off, honesty is the best policy. Do NOT try to hide it from your girlfriend, regardless of how she would react. Secondly, if it’s going to make your girlfriend insecure or uncomfortable… why even go there? You can do something platonic with a female coworker, but being gym buddies crosses a line in my opinion, unless it’s something your gf is totally cool with. Would you rather have your girlfriend or your female gym buddy?

Its own issues I feel because I don’t want it to seem like it’s weird for me to go do something platonic with a woman

She has trouble with fatigue so she can’t workout much without experiencing flare ups, I would have brought her to the gym a while ago

i mean a group thing with other coworkers or friends who’ve also been wanting to start working out/go to that gym/are interested if it’s possible. but that’s really my only suggestion besides turning her down, especially if it’s gonna be no harm to that friendship

She’s the only coworker who’s my age, everyone else is a decade older than us or more. We work at a hospital. Plus she can only bring one guest to planet fitness

I’m saying that you clearly know this would make your girlfriend unhappy, so you need to choose if you want to keep her or go off and do things with other females

I have been trying with no luck and she asked me, I don’t have a gym membership

Buy one, this just seems like excuses for you wanting to go with her. If your gf had the same situation with a male coworker her age would you feel entirely comfortable, and first off would you want her to tell you? I think so! Hope this helps
