I feel like it’s only weird for either gender if you’re doing it in front of all the people involved, like if you chat up a whole group of friends who went to a bar or party in succession

I don’t do this at all. My dating strategy is to exist, wait till I fall for someone, inform them of my feelings, and let them do whatever the heck they want with that info
