Depends what you mean by value

Yes and it should in a basic “expendability” sense. I say this as a man who thinks society often does not treat men properly. But we are not equal. The logical social/evolutionary implications of pregnancy (the fact that it’s a nine-month, full-time process that takes energy) result in (as ripple effects) all the emotional and social differences between the sexes. It’s not equal; it’s a beautiful difference. Whichever of the 2 you are, you have unique privileges, burdens, and duties.

Yes. It flips when you get to the higher echelons of society

“Women and children first” is the logical implication of the fact that the future matters and death is inevitable to those presently alive. Learn to love your sex and the other. They exist for each other

It’s tough to be sure! Especially now, for an average guy. A lot of it is a random luck of the draw (I’m above average in many ways but never dated at 24, while a not-academically-great high school classmate who didn’t go to college has been happily married for years), so you never know what the future holds. But still, you’re right that the overall odds are worse than they used to be

There is one advantage that a disadvantaged guy has over a disadvantaged girl. While all girls have a minimum “dating market value” (whereas guys could have 0), girls mostly stay flat with whatever “value” they have at age 18 till 29. So a girl who’s ugly doesn’t have that much ability to increase the desirability (unless it’s just that she’s overweight). Meanwhile, men aren’t just born; they’re made. A man builds and crafts HIMSELF, and he increases his value by what he does with his life.

True. We become more valuable

Indeed! If a poor farmer who has nothing but a plow and muscle from manual labor fends off a wolf attacking the village, he’s suddenly a hero at least 2 of the single ladies want to marry. We may not live in similar circumstances, but our own versions exist for each man’s life and abilities. But we can also learn and cultivate the abilities to get us there!

what is this weird ass situation you just made up??? do you think women expire at 30 and dont continue to grow? womens beauty isnt the only thing attributing to their value just like it isnt for men. women continue to build themselves up despite aging. also “stay flat” from 18-29? thats just…wrong. majority of women continue to grow and change physically as late as to their mid 30’s (without plastic surgery) so even their beauty value changes (for better or worse) its not some stagnant feature

Don’t read into it that which I did not say. I speak in generalized and collective dynamics. Your last point makes sense, but how often (aside from true late bloomers) does it take someone from undesirable to desirable?
