Check your own bed and stuff just incase. If he wants to come over, he can only use plastic bags to carry his items and he should wash some clothes that will only stay with you at your place. Other than being cautious on your end, just be supportive and try to remind him its not his fault. These things can happen to anyone at anytime (unless there’s some situational stuff I’m unaware of😅)

Geez one of my roommates got bed bugs once and it was a nightmare but we didn’t have to put things in storage or anything they just sprayed and we had to pull everything away from the wall and wash all our clothes

I don’t have him over and I got a new mattress protector but I was super sensitive to the bites when I stayed last and haven’t been bit since and don’t plan on going back till everything fumigated but he lowkey can’t afford this and I think we’re both confused because the bug people said the other people he lives with doesn’t have them and I’m the only one who’s been in his bed but I don’t have them

Yeah that can happen, they probably havent spread out yet. But they can be picked up from so many places, anywhere people travel who has them. Bugs travel on people whether they know it or not. And yeahhh unfortunately out of all the bugs to have in the house, bed bugs are the worst and most costly.

It might not have been as bad? At first he just bombed and nothing happened so they called out a company and they told him to keep sleeping on his bed so it doesn’t spread to the rest of the house but he threw away his mattress and won’t even let me get him a temporary air mattress bc he thinks it’ll make the bugs worse and he’s been sleeping on the fucking floor it’s night 2 and it’s supposed to be a hella long process tho so I think he’ll come around to the air mattress idea
