Not really a fail cause if you go to any restaurant some dishes to leave the tails on the shrimp and sometimes there is still poop in them. Not harmful!! Gross but not harmful

I wouldn't be complaining if it was just the tails. the shells are literally indigestible for humans, and they're breaded and fried, so you'd have to completely get rid of the breading to get the shell off
