Definitely not as bad..but it’s crazy they can’t even organize housing well enough with the amount of money we’re paying so that this situation could be avoided

i’ve done 2 programs before (international here, no other option) and have had crap roommates both times!

What did you both end up doing to cope or deal with this situation? Coming from someone who is terrified to have a bad roommate 😭

you honestly just have to live with it unfortunately. obviously the best option is to talk to them person to person if you have issues but sometimes it's little things that drive me crazy and i know i just have to deal with them

100% this, although one issue I had was that the 2 i didn’t link with didn’t like air conditioning in the dead heat of summer so that was a constant issue. and there were issues with cleaning. but yeah unless it’s something absolutely huge you just have to deal with the stuff that bothers you :/
