I can guarantee you Disney horses are some of the most well treated horses out there, they work in thoughtful shifts and are closely monitored for any discomfort on and off duty

Horses also have locking mechanisms in their joints that allow them to stand for long periods of time, so a couple hours is not a concern, given they are provided ways to stay cool during that time :)
