yeah except disney technically has nothigg bc to do with that. evidence wise it might make more sense to sue the person not the company ?

this + florida is an at will employment state they dont actually have to have a reason to fire her they just can. all the “evidence” you brought up has nothing to do with the company and what it boils down to is the people who did those things. disney is not responsible for any of their actions so there is no case when it comes to suing DISNEY for defamation

yes, I agree. None of that was okay by any means. like not topsychoanalyze, I'm just saying this genuinely but I think she just really needs to step back for a little bit like she's had a crazy year and I think she needs to really take the time for herself and to reevaluate to her decisions. I understand she wants some kind of compensation for everything that's happened to her, but I think taking legal action against disney is not the right move in this scenario

ultimately i dont think she’d actually make it to actual going to court part unfortunately lawyers are expensive and she mentioned the finances of it and in the long run i dont think its reasonable to spend that. obv i dont know her personally but i just dont see this actually happening

she didn’t get fired for Backstage photos. She got fired for her performance, which she says multiple times.

How in the world would these people win against her for harassment? When all she did was screenshot what they said about her that is harassing her not the other way around.

She had to track down and expose the people that stalked her at her job, keyed her car, screamed at her in public, and sent her message threats. Her posting that persons name and where he used to work (he doesn’t work there anymore) isn’t harassment when he’s been causing her literal harm for her while program. It’s collecting evidence and building a case. (Also I realize my tone seems stark. I’m not trying to be 😭)

hi, another law student here, even if she’s collected all this evidence she’s made the wrong move by posting about it and talking about it online. one of the first things many lawyers will tell you when you’re actually opening up a case is to stop talking about it online or on social media.

While yes this is true, it doesn’t make the evidence inadmissible. Like I’d strongly urge her to stfu but she still has a case.

yes, I agree. There is potentially still a case. There’s still the logistics of lawyering up, she talked about how expensive it is and you’re not gonna find a good lawyer for cheap. in the end of the day, I don’t think her following through the lawsuit will actually happen
