yes! also. I don’t think people realize how isolating it is. esp at the mk areas, you’re pretty much locked in a room the whole shift, breaks by yourself. I def struggled to make friends initially!!

dealing with guests and their insane rage of not being able to meet a character, storylining on the spot, doing so many things simultaneously like counting guests, interpreting character gestures, prepping your next family, closing your line, taking photos, spieling, paying attention to what’s in the photo, keeping track of the time to get them off on time, giving time warnings, staying in theme with guests purposefully trying to get you and your character to break character integrity+

keeping guests out of other people’s interactions, stopping kids from running up to the characters, holding autograph books and helping characters sign, the list goes on. on top of that there’s more but honestly too lazy to type more out

i have a backbone, that’s why i’m still in the role lol. i’m simply saying it isn’t as easy going rainbows as i thought it was before doing it. i’m doing fine and not struggling but there are more hardships to it than i knew about
