I would say it helps, I’m a concierge and over half of our CPs have done the program before. I rarely hear of alumni getting roles like qsr or houseperson

I did QSR my first program now I graduated and got character attendant, almost everyone in my training group had done a program before (though one didn’t even mention this role during her interview and it’s her first program and got it)

alumni get more of a preference advantage but still comes down to operational need at the end of the day

I got the same role and location both programs (merch in DAK) but (allegedly) the proprietor of the location requested me because she really liked me and wanted me back

see, i was wondering because i was qsr/odv my first program but as much as i wouldn’t mind doing that again since i’m about to interview for another program, i’m just hoping for one of my top choices and not hopefully be placed in qsr again

i was qsr in mk my first program and i worked my ASS OFF, like sometimes I would be working over 40+ hours, even 50+ some weeks randomly so i would LOVE to get character attendant (it goes along with my college major)

this makes me feel a lot better about my chances because my first program was also QSR and i’m hoping for character attendant for my second program as it is in my top choices but i applied already and even though the applications are open for spring ‘26 already, idk how likely my chances will be for getting character attendant in the fall versus the spring

Yeah I have no idea rn we have a good amount that went to MK due to all the parties I was able to talk about it in my interview and got questions related to character attendant which I feel helped my chances personally

i’m hoping to be stationed in MK/epcot but my first choice would want to be MK preferably but i may wait until the fall though because of MNSSHP/MVMCP to really help my chances but i also got questions about CA during my interview for my first program but still ended up in qsr so i have no idea honestly
