I got all my pots and pans, an organizer, study chair, and a lamp all second hand for a total of $63. Facebook marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, and secondhand places like Goodwill or Savers will go far in a tight budget! As far as your roommate I’m with #6. It’s not likely you’ll be roommates for more than a semester or two anyway.
