I’m assuming the measurements on the plan are of the room without the closet bc an empty 11’9” x 8’8” room looks way too long without the closet added

The app is magicplan, everything is free for the first few floor plans and you can plug measurements in for furniture once you have them. I think it doesnt take up a crazy amount of room but it is a lot, esp if you want to spend a lot of time there. That being said twin beds are tiny so if I were you I’d look for a loft bed to maximise space if you can. good luck 🫶

tbh I don't mind the small amount of space especially bc we're probably gonna have 2 living rooms, my mom was hoping I could get a full size so we could get a really nice mattress that I can use when I graduate!
